Privacy Policy

TicketTrek (“TicketTrek”, “we”, “us”) is a concert and live-event planning app. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Questions: admin@tixtrk.com.

Information we collect

We only collect what the app needs to function. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and the app is not directed to children.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the app: authentication, and syncing your concerts, trips, history, and follows.
To show nearby and local events using your location.
To send notifications you’ve opted into. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

How your information is shared

We share data only with service providers and event-data sources needed to run the app:

Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cognito (authentication), Lambda/DynamoDB (storing your account and content), and SNS (push notifications), acting as our processors.
Apple: Sign in with Apple (if you choose it) and the Apple Push Notification service.
Ticketmaster and setlist.fm: to look up events, venues, and setlists. Your search terms are sent to these services to return results.
Google Places: to autocomplete and geocode locations you enter and, for “nearby” features, your approximate/precise location.

These providers process data under their own terms; we share only what’s needed to perform the requested function. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes your Cognito account, your stored content (wishlist, trips, history, follows, settings), and your registered push tokens, and severs any Sign in with Apple connection. You can also email admin@tixtrk.com to request deletion.

Security

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/App Transport Security). Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain.

Your choices

Location: grant or deny in iOS Settings; the app works without it.
Notifications: enable or disable in iOS Settings.
Account: edit your profile/home base in-app, or delete your account entirely (above).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, surface a notice in the app or by email.
